A variant of the RGM-79[G] GM Ground Type, designed for long-range precision firepower. Painted a drab olive green for camoflauge, its hand armament consisted of a single long-range beam rifle with a high-power scope. However the rifle needed a large amount of energy, so it was connected to an external power generator and a cooling device. At least four GM Snipers were used by the Kojima Battalion. RGM-79 GM.
